Marketing Administrator

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Marketing Administrator:

We are looking for a driven, problem solver that is interested in working for a boutique marketing agency that performs all services in house and is quickly growing. In this position, you will work in a fast paced, demanding environment  and will have the opportunity to work within all facets of marketing: strategy development, account management, web design, media, technology, insights, graphic design, general operations, etc. You will receive a very broad understanding of the industry and work on the cutting edge of customer engagement as this is, at the core, what our company strives to do. This is a great opportunity for a recent college grad or an individual looking to get started in the marketing industry. It is imperative that the individual that fills this position has excellent writing skills.

R&D Design is a marketing strategy development and implementation agency based in New Orleans. R&D Design works with businesses, organizations, and leaders focused on and open to the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies that will pave the way for the future of enhanced customer engagement. R&D’s full service creative engine develops and implements everything needed to achieve success for their clients including media production, social media management, ad management, print collateral, web design, branding, media buy, internal systems consultation, innovative technology implementation (ie. VR video production), etc. R&D services organizations from Louisiana through the Gulf South and up through Virginia and DC, specializing in home improvement, agency support, public policy, non profits, tourism, hospitality, retail, music and dining.

Responsibilities

  • Help strengthen and develop internal marketing efforts

  • Writing company newsletter (familiarity with Mailchimp)

  • Maintenance of website

  • Update and develop content on internal social accounts

  • Photography as needed

  • Expense report management

  • Internal process development and enforcement

  • Strong note taking

  • Development and implementation of processes and systems within the office.

  • Ability to carry out targeted research and presenting findings

  • Travel arrangement

Requirements

  • excellent IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages (adobe suite, microsoft suite, google drive)

  • ability to work on your own, make decisions and stand behind those decisions with well thought out reason
